After a year and a half of quietly chipping away at their debut album the new-wave indie rock 5 piece that is The Disappointed are returning to the stage. A band that always defined themselves on being a bit left of center while maintaining catchy hooks has a whole new set list and are ready to unveil it all to you ahead of their album release sometime in the not too distant future. Bringing back the dead a bit with their latest show, Honeywheeler reform for the first time in 4 years, Cubs (solo) hits the stage again (finally), and the delightful rock sounds of Esperance outfit Grand Casual hit the big smoke for the first time this year. A Somewhat Beach Boys tribute Party! We’ve gathered together a handful of WA’s talneted songwriters and challenged them to pay tribute to THE BEACH BOYS in their own style. If you love local music and you’ve got a soft spot for the Beach Boys then this’ll really float your boat! Each band will play Beach Boys tunes amongst their own loveable numbers.
