Angus Dawson is truly making a name for himself as a master of encapsulating, intricate and emotional indie electronica. His new four-track EP Camouflage is a culmination of his best work in six years. Some of the work stemmed from his earliest writing, highlighting his artistic development and knack for intricate soundscapes and thoughtful song writing. ‘What We’ve Done’ feat. Bri Clark dropped just last month with a radio premiere on triple j’s Home and Hosed, and online with the AU review as well as an Unearthed feature and entry into the Australian Viral 50 charts on Spotify. The brooding track opens with glossy synth lines and Clark’s deep, smoky vocals.

‘What We’ve Done’ embraces Dawson calling card soundscapes with the freshness of the mixed vocals. The track is fuelled with wholesome emotion and powerful control. The silky production and blended vocals bring an air of romance and heartbreak in equal parts. After supporting Emma Louise, Vera Blue, Japanese Wallpaper and many more he is ready to put on his own show in his hometown of Perth.

This show is not to be missed. Angus Dawson divulges his personal experience through brooding ambient/electronic production and intricate songwriting. Recognised for introverted and reflective work and his use of insulated and reticent layers, Camouflage is the exploration of years of work and growth for the immersive and introverted artist.

Kohesia Ensemble explores unusual time structures and microtonal melodies for a captivating listening experience. Kohesia Ensemble presents a night of original music that will transport you to another place. Having released their debut album “Kohesia” in June 2018, Kohesia Ensemble was nominated for 2018 WAM Best Album, Best Jazz Act and Best World Act. Kohesia Ensemble was also shortlisted for the Martin Sims Award at Fringe World Festival (2019). Chocolate & Wine Masterclass

The Margaret River Chocolate Company has matched its mouth-watering chocolates with wines from sister company Coward & Black Vineyards to create an amazing Chocolate & Wine masterclass experience.

Participants learn all about chocolate and wine and get to taste a range of single origin chocolates as well as pairing chocolates to a variety of red, white, sparkling and dessert wines. The classes also include tastings of three Sambarino chocolate liqueurs, along with a free bottle to take home. They run at the funky new bar in the city, The Sewing Room.
