The Double Bill featuring the live sounds of local musical heroes. This time we introduce you to a somewhat local supergroup. Echo Adore is a two-piece consisting of Damian Diggs (Lanark) and Oliver James (Mezzanine). The pair have been writing and playing together for five years, crafting their own brand of gloom pop and melancholy rock. They spent 2018 recording with Dave Parkin at Blackbird Studios and Lance Robinson at Pavement. With a backing band of Stewart Banks (Peppermint Showers/Delay Delay), James Porteous (Split Cities/Steppes) and Lance Robinson (Loose Unit) ‘Echo Adore’ are looking forward to playing shows in the lead up to the release of their EP ‘Prologue’ and it’s lead single ‘Indecisions’. Joining Echao Adore on the double bill is Steppes. A four piece, alt/indie outfit from Perth, Western Australia. Forming in mid-2014, Steppes have been playing around the scene for several years between breaks and live videos the band has curated an incredible live show. The Double Bill is also back on SAT JUNE 22. $5 entry

Journey with Kohesia Ensemble and experience the evocative sounds of Persian music played in a unique jazz style. Led by double bassist Kate Pass, the Kohesia Ensemble serves as a platform for Kate’s original compositions, which are influenced by her passion for both jazz and Persian music. Kohesia Ensemble explores unusual time structures and microtonal melodies for a captivating listening experience. Kohesia Ensemble presents a night of original music that will transport you to another place. Having released their debut album “Kohesia” in June 2018, Kohesia Ensemble was nominated for 2018 WAM Best Album, Best Jazz Act and Best World Act. Kohesia Ensemble was also shortlisted for the Martin Sims Award at Fringe World Festival (2019). Chocolate & Wine Masterclass

The Margaret River Chocolate Company has matched its mouth-watering chocolates with wines from sister company Coward & Black Vineyards to create an amazing Chocolate & Wine masterclass experience.

Participants learn all about chocolate and wine and get to taste a range of single origin chocolates as well as pairing chocolates to a variety of red, white, sparkling and dessert wines. The classes also include tastings of three Sambarino chocolate liqueurs, along with a free bottle to take home. They run at the funky new bar in the city, The Sewing Room.
